In the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s Linz Austria was the leading center of the sunglasses and eyewear production of the world. Famous brands like Porsche, Carrera, Dunhill, Christian Dior, La Croix, Paloma Picasso and many more were designed and produced in Traun, Linz and the countryside arround. The Atelier Collection was the line of the brother of the Optyl-Production owner Wilhelm Anger. The Atelier Line was famous for the great contrasts, the experimental designs and the great coloured butterfly acetate frames.
